Admissions Process

Registration begins in November and continues until classes are full. A child must be four years of age on or before September 1 to enter Pre-Kindergarten and five years of age on or before September 1 to enter Kindergarten.

Children entering St. James for grades 1 through 8 will be given math and reading placement tests and students in grades 3-8 will also be asked to submit a writing sample prior to acceptance.

Parents of all new students are required to submit their child(ren)'s birth certificate, Social Security card, certificate of immunization (form GA-3231) and Ear, Eye and Dental Certificate (EED form GA-3300). In addition, new Catholic students must also provide: Baptismal certificate, other sacramental certificates, and Parish Participation card.

 St. James has a limited amount of Financial Aid. A student must be registered with the school prior to applying for financial aid. Financial aid form submission  deadlines are  Mid -April and will be distributed in early June. The school office has FACTS forms  and GRACE Scholar forms available. Call the school office for exact deadlines and  additional information.
